Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will lead engineering teams to develop backend infrastructure and systems, collaborating closely with product and data teams to create a clear technical roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Build and support a high-performing engineering team through recruitment and development efforts
• Partner with a platform lead to enhance technical excellence and implement AI-assisted development processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute technical strategies and roadmaps focused on high-impact opportunities

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in an engineering management role
• Proven experience in building and leading teams of 6+ engineers
• Strong understanding of AI tooling and its application in software development
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Commitment to team development and fostering a collaborative work environment
