Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time salaried Senior Engineering Manager will lead multiple teams within the Billing department, managing other managers and directly overseeing engineers to ensure consistent performance, hiring, and delivery standards in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the performance of Managers and Team Leads, ensuring measurable growth and consistency across teams
• Align business objectives, customer understanding, and OKRs/KPIs across teams while maintaining high standards for hiring and performance
• Lead during critical cross-team incidents and ensure effective communication and collaboration among teams to meet delivery commitments

Required qualifications:

• 10-15 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record of managing managers and leading multi-team coordination
• Experience in driving engineering practice changes and delivering consistent results across multiple teams
• Demonstrated ability to lead through cross-team crises and maintain performance under pressure
• Strong partnership experience with Product and Design peers at a multi-team scope
• Honest and direct communication skills, with a willingness to address challenges early at all levels
