Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time Senior Engineering Manager will lead a team of 5-10 engineers in executing the Chief Architect's vision into production code, ensuring technical quality and team health while working closely with project management in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Translate architectural vision into production code and oversee day-to-day engineering operations
• Mentor engineers at all levels and drive a culture of engineering craftsmanship and reliability
• Collaborate with project management on sprint planning, capacity estimates, and technical execution quality

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of microservices, cloud-native design patterns, and API-first development
• Experience with Python, GraphQL, REST APIs, SQL, and modern development toolchains
• Proficiency in CI/CD, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevSecOps practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
