Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will manage software development teams, collaborating with product management to build roadmaps and ensure the execution of development deliverables while fostering a culture of mentorship and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of software development teams, providing leadership and performance management
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to build roadmaps and document key decisions throughout the development process
• Establish success metrics and monitor team and system performance to meet scalability and reliability goals

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a leadership or management role with at least 10 years of software development experience
• Experience leading teams of 10 engineers or more
• Strong time management and project management skills
• Proficiency in Kafka, distributed systems, and real-time streaming processing
• Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
