Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time salaried Senior Engineering Manager will manage software development teams, collaborate with product management to build roadmaps, and ensure the delivery of reliable promotional capabilities in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day activities of software development teams, providing mentorship and performance management
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to define requirements and ensure successful execution of the development roadmap
• Establish success metrics and monitor team performance to meet scalability and reliability goals

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years in a leadership or management role with at least 10 years of software development experience
• Experience leading teams of 10 or more engineers
• Strong time management and project management skills
• Proficiency in Kafka, distributed systems, and real-time streaming processing
• Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
