Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a multi-team engineering organization, the full-time Senior Engineering Manager will oversee the development and operation of NVIDIA's S3-compatible object storage service and data movement tools, ensuring high software quality and service reliability in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and grow engineering teams, setting standards for software quality and engineering culture
• Own roadmap execution for the object storage service, collaborating with internal stakeholders to define engineering plans
• Drive the development of data movement tools to optimize data staging and minimize I/O bottlenecks for AI workloads

Required qualifications:

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in an engineering management role leading teams of 10 or more
• Deep technical background in distributed storage systems or large-scale cloud data services, with hands-on experience in relevant programming languages
• Experience building or scaling S3-compatible object storage systems in production environments
• Proven track record of managing software delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams
