Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will lead and mentor a team focused on developing Grip's event registration platform, ensuring high-quality product delivery, architectural consistency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a squad of engineers while managing performance reviews and fostering a culture of psychological safety
• Oversee product delivery cadence, including sprint planning, prioritization, and balancing feature delivery with platform health
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on architectural decisions and contribute to the overall technical strategy

Required qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering teams in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment
• Strong technical background in TypeScript, Node.js, React, MongoDB, Postgres, and AWS
• Proven track record of delivering complex, production-grade systems with a focus on quality and security
• Experience collaborating with Product and Design teams on initiative shaping
• Genuine excitement about AI-first development and experience using AI tooling in workflows
