Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a remote, full-time team, the Senior Engineering Manager will oversee the Web engineering team responsible for APFM.com, ensuring high-quality delivery and fostering a strong engineering culture while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and retain the engineering team focused on building and evolving APFM.com and related web properties
• Own delivery for the Web platform by planning sprints, managing scope, and removing blockers
• Set and uphold engineering standards across code quality, performance, and security while driving technical decisions

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2-3 years in an engineering management role
• Experience leading teams building consumer-facing web products at scale, particularly with modern JavaScript/TypeScript stacks
• Strong track record of delivering high-quality, high-traffic consumer web experiences
• Comfort with GraphQL and API-driven architectures
• Experience with agile delivery practices and cross-functional roadmap execution
