Job Summary

The full-time salaried Senior Engineering Manager will foster a collaborative environment for 8-10 engineers, focusing on mentorship, improving engineering processes, and partnering with Product Managers in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and support the career growth of engineers through regular 1-on-1s and actionable feedback
• Participate in personnel reviews and shape the performance review process
• Improve engineering processes to increase velocity while maintaining quality

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering management, leading teams of 5 or more
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Ruby
• Knowledge of full software development lifecycle practices
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities
• Experience collaborating with product management teams
