Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will lead the Lister team in executing product strategy, managing engineering vision and delivery, and ensuring the technical health and data quality of property listings.

Key responsibilities

• Own the outcomes of the Lister domain, including delivery and technical health
• Set and defend a quarterly roadmap across three pods, clarifying team priorities
• Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team while addressing underperformance

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years managing teams of 5 or more
• Proven experience in building and scaling backend services and data pipelines
• Strong technical judgment and experience with messy third-party integrations
• Experience collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and Analysts to shape roadmaps
• Familiarity with Kotlin, Ruby, and Typescript, or a willingness to learn
