Job Summary
The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will lead the technical execution, architecture, and delivery of core platform domains for the Zeta Marketing Platform, driving complex initiatives across multiple engineering teams while mentoring engineers and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and technical direction for assigned platform domains and translate platform strategy into executable engineering roadmaps
- Build and lead a high-performing team of platform engineers, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Deliver platform capabilities that simplify product development and partner with engineering teams to enhance developer experience
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience building and operating large-scale distributed platforms or multi-tenant SaaS systems
- Experience leading engineering teams responsible for platform, backend, or infrastructure services
- Strong technical expertise in distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native architectures
- Experience designing and operating highly available production services
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and grow technical leaders
