Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a critical function at the intersection of AI foundations and proactive experiences, the full-time Senior Engineering Manager will build and scale teams, drive technical direction, and execute initiatives to enhance AI-driven experiences at Pinterest, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring in-office collaboration 1-2 times per month.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and drive the organizational and technical strategy for AI Foundations and Proactive Experiences
• Build and lead a high-performing engineering organization, ensuring strong execution across multiple workstreams
• Partner with cross-functional teams to shape the roadmap for proactive and assistive Pinterest experiences

Required qualifications:

• Significant experience leading engineering teams in AI/ML, personalization, or consumer-facing AI systems at scale
• Proven success managing managers and senior technical leaders in complex, cross-functional environments
• Strong track record of driving strategy and execution for large-scale, technically complex organizations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Excellent partnership skills with a history of effective collaboration across product and engineering teams
