Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will lead the Enterprise Fulfillment engineering team, driving the technical vision and strategy while overseeing the development of innovative grocery picking solutions for major retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical vision and strategy for the Enterprise Fulfillment team, aligning with product strategy and company objectives
• Own the engineering roadmap, ensuring high-quality execution of business outcomes while maintaining reliability and scalability
• Lead and mentor a team of 10+ engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering management with a proven track record of leading teams of 15+ engineers
• Demonstrated ability to craft and execute strategic engineering roadmaps that align with business objectives
• Experience as a hands-on technical leader, overseeing individual contributor work at a senior or staff-equivalent level
• Strong background in staffing, mentoring, and developing engineering teams, including performance management
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product managers and engineering peers in a fast-paced environment
