Senior Engineering Manager
Job Summary
The full-time salaried Senior Engineering Manager will lead and develop two teams focused on cloud infrastructure and data engineering, ensuring reliable and secure systems while managing technical direction and compliance in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and grow DevOps and Data Engineering teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Set and drive a unified platform roadmap in collaboration with the Director of Engineering and VP of Data
- Oversee the annual SOC2 audit and penetration test, coordinating with auditors and internal teams
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in software, infrastructure, or data engineering, including 2+ years of direct management experience
- Deep expertise in either cloud infrastructure/DevOps or modern data engineering, with fluency in the other
- Experience managing a team that serves multiple internal customers with transparent prioritization
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards such as SOC2
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams
