Senior Engineering Manager
Job Summary
The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will lead the Foundations team responsible for the infrastructure and platform, focusing on team growth, technical strategy, and operational excellence while ensuring reliable and scalable product delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and grow the engineering team from 7 to 12 members, fostering a high-trust and high-standards culture
- Drive delivery and execution by committing to quarterly goals and maintaining predictable delivery timelines
- Set technical strategy and architecture for platform initiatives, guiding engineers on architectural decisions
Required qualifications
- Experience managing platform or infrastructure engineering teams in high-growth environments
- Deep technical fluency in cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices
- Strong software engineering background with proficiency in languages such as Go, Python, TypeScript, or Ruby
- Experience operating SQL and RDBMS in production at scale, preferably PostgreSQL
- A proven track record of operational excellence in deployment and incident response management
