Senior Engineering Manager
Job Summary
The full-time salaried Senior Engineering Manager will lead the Mortgage engineering team, overseeing platform architecture and delivery while collaborating with product management to drive business results in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the technical roadmap and architecture for the Mortgage platform, partnering with product management to enhance features and product direction
- Manage delivery for the Mortgage business line, working closely with leadership to achieve business results
- Hire, mentor, and elevate engineering talent while setting the technical direction and reducing technical debt
Required qualifications
- 8+ years as an engineering manager and 12+ years as an engineer, including experience managing large teams
- Experience owning a P&L or business line in highly regulated environments, with accountability for revenue targets
- Deep understanding of service architecture, system design, and lean software development principles
- Experience with machine learning and AI, particularly in an AI-native environment
- A-player mindset with a strong bias for action and ownership of outcomes
