Senior Engineering Manager Central Data

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager, Central Data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hire and manage a high-performing team and develop cross-functional partnerships with data producers and consumers
• Deliver trusted and efficient central datasets and instrumentation to meet business needs
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior managers and engineers

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in large-scale data processing and instrumentation
• Familiarity with data engineering best practices, data warehousing concepts, and data serialization formats
• Working knowledge of Kafka, Flink, Spark, Hadoop, Iceberg, Airflow S3, and relational databases
• Experience in Python and Java/Scala
• Proven ability to operate at multiple levels and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
