Senior Engineering Manager, Cloud & Data

Job Summary

Leading the Data & Cloud Platform function for the AI organization, the full-time Senior Engineering Manager, Cloud & Data will design and build the infrastructure and data capabilities essential for AI platform operations, while working remotely and engaging in hands-on coding and team management.

Key responsibilities

• Own the cloud and data foundation for the AI organization, including shared runtime infrastructure and CI/CD patterns
• Design and build a unified data access layer for AI features to streamline data interactions
• Shape the technical execution of the organization's data strategy, focusing on scale, operability, and maintainability

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a background in leading engineers
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with building or operating shared data systems, including ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience designing platform APIs or integration layers for complex systems
• Demonstrated exposure to production AI systems where data architecture impacts performance
