Senior Engineering Manager, IAM

Job Summary

Leading the Identity & Access Management Platform team, the full-time Senior Engineering Manager, IAM will oversee the development of enterprise-grade access management systems, manage team growth and performance, and implement AI-driven workflows in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop the IAM Platform engineering team, focusing on hiring, mentorship, and performance management
• Own the delivery of ClickUp's enterprise-grade access management platform, including authentication, authorization, and audit logging systems
• Set the roadmap and priorities in collaboration with product, security, and engineering leadership to enhance access and identity capabilities

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with 3+ years in engineering management
• Hands-on experience in identity and access management, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to streamline team workflows and reporting
• Experience delivering enterprise-grade SaaS and working with enterprise security and compliance requirements
• Strong track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams
