Senior Engineering Manager, Oncology

Job Summary

Leading a small, agile team, the full-time Senior Engineering Manager, Oncology will own the design and maintenance of Lab Execution platforms while driving their transition to a custom in-house solution, collaborating closely with lab scientists and stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design, build, and maintenance of Lab Execution platforms to ensure high-throughput lab processes operate smoothly
• Collaborate with Lab Operations and R&D to gather feedback and implement rapid improvements in the platform
• Coach and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering an ownership mindset and ensuring quality delivery

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building software applications
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing engineering teams
• Expertise in Python, TypeScript, and React, with strong front-end development skills
• Proficiency with AWS services and infrastructure as code
• Strong relational database skills, including MySQL/PostgreSQL and SQL programming
