Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Integrated Healthcare Transformation initiative at the Department of Veterans Affairs, the fully remote Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer will analyze data through advanced models and algorithms, design data collection tools, and present findings to inform strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement data collection tools and techniques to ensure data integrity and confidence
- Create data pipelines using Python SQL and/or Azure Data Factory to extrapolate actionable insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with program objectives and support predictive modeling
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or enterprise analytics within large-scale enterprise or Federal environments
- Experience with Azure Government, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, or comparable cloud analytics platforms
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across interconnected systems
- Experience providing technical direction to engineering and technical teams
