Senior Environmental Chemist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Environmental Chemist to support various federal and private sector projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal contact for all chemistry-related activities and manage internal requests for chemistry support
• Oversee and mentor staff, review work products for accuracy, and manage laboratory products and subcontracting
• Prepare chemistry portions of UFP-QAPPs, resolve client comments, and ensure compliance with project requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree (Master's preferred) in Chemistry or Environmental Chemistry
• Minimum 10 years of experience supporting federal projects
• Expertise in chemical data quality management and environmental data verification
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
