Senior Environmental Chemist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Environmental Chemist to support a diverse portfolio of projects for federal and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with analytical laboratories to fulfill project-specific data needs for environmental media sampling programs
• Prepare and provide technical review of chemical data deliverables, including Quality Assurance Project Plans and data reports
• Mentor and oversee chemistry and project staff, reviewing deliverables for accuracy and serving as the primary point of contact for chemistry-related activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or Environmental Chemistry
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the environmental chemistry field with progressively increasing responsibility
• Master's degree in Chemistry or Environmental Chemistry is preferred
• Experience supporting DoD, USEPA, and/or other federal agency projects
• Experience mentoring and directing junior staff and chemists
