Senior Environmental Consultant

Job Summary

Serving as a strategic and operational leader within the Aviation Environmental practice, the full-time remote Senior Environmental Consultant will manage complex NEPA programs, mentor teams, and guide environmental due diligence for major U.S. airports.

Key responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence by supporting resource planning, financial performance, and quality control across environmental projects
• Oversee and advise on Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), Environmental Assessments (EA), and Categorical Exclusions (CatEx) for airport capital programs
• Act as an executive-level advisor to airport sponsors and aviation clients while leading business development efforts

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive environmental consulting experience with a focus on aviation infrastructure
• Demonstrated leadership in managing complex NEPA documents (EIS, EA, CatEx) for commercial service airports
• Direct experience working with FAA Airport District Offices and regional environmental staff
• Strong command of environmental risk mitigation strategies in large capital improvement programs
• Advanced degree in environmental science, planning, engineering, or a related field preferred
