Senior Environmental Remediation Manager

Job Summary

Providing strategic direction and oversight for environmental remediation projects, the full-time Senior Environmental Remediation Manager will manage project execution, mentor team members, and ensure compliance with financial and regulatory obligations while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the remediation team by providing technical guidance, strategic direction, and career mentoring
• Manage individual remediation projects and oversee ongoing remediation spending and forecasts
• Prepare the Company's environmental liability estimate and Asset Retirement Obligation (ARO) estimate in accordance with relevant guidelines

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Rangeland Ecology, or related field
• At least 8 years of experience in mining and/or industrial environmental remediation
• Prior leadership experience managing technical staff and consultants
• Experience with CERCLA program projects and preparing environmental liability estimates and ARO in accordance with US GAAP and ASTM standards
• Demonstrated project management skills, including budgeting, tracking expenditures, and stakeholder communication
