Senior Environmental Remediation Manager

Job Summary

Providing strategic direction and oversight, the full-time Senior Environmental Remediation Manager will manage remediation projects, guide team members, and ensure compliance with environmental financial obligations while based in Boise, ID or Pocatello, ID.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the remediation team by offering technical guidance, strategic direction, and career mentoring
• Manage individual remediation projects and oversee ongoing remediation spending and forecasts
• Prepare the Company's annual environmental liability estimate and Asset Retirement Obligation (ARO) estimate in compliance with relevant guidelines

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Rangeland Ecology, or related field
• At least 8 years of experience in mining and/or industrial environmental remediation
• Prior leadership experience managing technical staff and consultants
• Direct experience with CERCLA program projects and preparing environmental liability estimates
• Demonstrated project management skills, including budget development and stakeholder communication
