Job Summary
Supporting federal environmental programs, the full-time remote Senior Environmental Research Analyst will conduct advanced research on land records, environmental data, and regulatory frameworks while delivering high-quality analytical products for federal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth environmental research on conditions, contamination history, and regulatory requirements to support EPA programs
- Examine title and land records to determine land status and encumbrances, including deeds and historical ownership
- Analyze civil documentation such as court filings, permits, and zoning records to support regulatory compliance and environmental initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Legal Studies, Public Policy, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in title research, environmental research, regulatory analysis, or similar fields
- Strong understanding of EPA programs and environmental statutes such as CERCLA, RCRA, and NEPA
- Proficiency with GIS platforms and federal research databases
- Ability to interpret complex legal descriptions and environmental datasets
