Senior E&O Underwriter

Job Summary

Managing submissions from brokers, the full-time Senior E&O Underwriter will analyze risks, determine appropriate limits, pricing, and terms, while ensuring compliance with underwriting standards in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute E&O business plans and objectives to enhance market presence
• Provide prompt and accurate customer service on policy transactions
• Document underwriting activities and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum of 3+ years of underwriting experience, specifically in E&O with a focus on Architects and Engineers or Contractor PL underwriting
• Strong knowledge of E&O market practices, coverage, and pricing methodologies
• Understanding of the producer and competitor marketplace
• Familiarity with insurance company operations
