Senior Epic Applications Analyst

Job Summary

Leading the Patient Access team, the full-time Senior Epic Applications Analyst will manage application software analysis, design, implementation, and support, while collaborating with clinical and administrative staff to enhance patient safety and departmental workflow in a remote eligible position.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for Patient Access applications, ensuring effective use and support of software
• Perform project management activities, including analysis, design, and implementation of assigned application software
• Consult extensively with clinical and administrative staff to improve processes and workflows within the organization

Required qualifications:

• Epic certification and experience with Patient Access modules such as Cadence and Prelude
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or five+ years of relevant healthcare/IT experience
• Minimum of three years' experience in implementing clinical information systems
• Completion of ITIL course and HIMSS certification within one year of hire
• Strong understanding of hospital clinical and administrative operations and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
