Job Summary
Providing leadership in technical regulatory and compliance services, the full-time Senior ERISA Attorney will manage complex retirement plan matters for clients, review plan documents, and advise on fiduciary training while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide plan design advice and review plan documents, amendments, and communications
- Advise on mergers and acquisitions, nondiscrimination testing, and fiduciary governance procedures
- Lead the Legal Team, overseeing staff work product and conducting legal research on developments of significance
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree and active membership in a state bar as an ERISA Attorney
- Minimum of 15 years of experience as an ERISA attorney with extensive knowledge of DOL, IRS, FINRA, and SEC regulations
- Proven ability to manage and mentor legal staff while interfacing with senior leadership
- Experience in delivering training sessions on legislative and regulatory developments
- Strong background in retirement plan issues and legal compliance for both private and public sector entities
