Job Summary
To independently manage the full lifecycle of compliance testing, government reporting, and plan document work for a mixed caseload of plans, the full-time Senior ERISA Compliance Analyst will operate remotely, performing annual nondiscrimination testing, preparing Form 5500 filings, and training Compliance Analysts while ensuring adherence to ERISA regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Independently perform annual nondiscrimination testing and prepare Form 5500 filings for complex plans
- Draft plan amendments and serve as the primary compliance contact for assigned relationship managers
- Train and mentor Compliance Analysts on testing methodologies and identify emerging compliance issues in assigned plans
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, human resources, or a related field preferred
- 3-7 years of direct experience in retirement plan compliance testing or Form 5500 preparation
- Experience with major retirement plan administration software platforms such as Relius or Ft William
- ASPPA RPF designation achieved or in progress; QKA or other ASPPA/NIPA credentials preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies
