Senior ESA Section 7 Biologist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior ESA Section 7 Biologist.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance regarding ESA Section 7 consultation requirements and impact minimization measures
• Manage consultation requests and conduct expedited consultations, including the preparation of necessary documentation
• Assess project impacts related to coastal and marine activities and maintain consultation tracking within NMFS systems

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in environmental science, biology, ecology, marine science, natural resource management, or related field
• At least five (5) years of experience supporting ESA Section 7 consultations or similar environmental regulatory processes
• Demonstrated experience preparing complex regulatory and technical documents
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
