Senior Estimator for Rail Projects

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director, Estimating - Rail and Transit.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare top-down conceptual estimates and ensure continuous review and revision of estimates
• Identify assumptions and risks to develop appropriate contingencies and provide life-cycle costing for estimating components
• Produce detailed estimates in a timely manner based on Bills of Quantities/take-off and Activity Based costs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent industry experience
• 15+ years of related estimating experience, preferably in transportation and federal projects
• Specific experience with "Systems" such as Traction Power, Signaling, MEP, and other related systems
• Experience leading and presenting estimate deliverables to stakeholders
• Proficient in current technology including estimating/database software
