Senior Estimator - Pharmaceutical Construction
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Estimator - Pharmaceutical Construction will manage construction estimates for a prestigious pharmaceutical client, focusing on cost reporting, change orders, and negotiations throughout various projects across the US.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed construction cost estimates from conceptual design through final construction documents
- Research material and labor prices using various resources and partner with management to develop new customer relationships
- Review and reconcile change orders, providing detailed bid analysis and value engineering services
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of estimating/cost management experience in pharmaceutical/life science construction projects
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and intermediate knowledge of Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook
- Familiarity with On-Screen Takeoff and/or Success Estimating Software is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Engineering, Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Architecture preferred
- A combination of education and work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
