Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriting Officer - Excess Casualty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert technical underwriting assistance for assigned lines of business in Majors Excess Casualty
• Ensure continuity and alignment between Primary and Excess Casualty placements
• Evaluate portfolio performance regularly and identify drivers of performance, risks, and opportunities

Qualifications:

• Expert-level knowledge of coverage forms, pricing, rating plans, and market knowledge
• Advanced experience in insurance operations, claims, finance, and industry trends
• Skilled collaborator with the ability to independently execute and advance collaboration
• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience in underwriting, claims, and market trends
• Experience working with brokers/agents and coaching/developing others
