Senior Exchange Infrastructure SME

Job Summary

Seeking a long-term independent contractor, the Senior On-Premises Exchange & Messaging Infrastructure SME will provide expert guidance on complex Microsoft Exchange Server environments, troubleshoot production issues, and mentor engineering teams while working remotely within the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex Exchange production issues and provide architectural guidance
• Support upgrades, migrations, disaster recovery, performance optimization, and Exchange Hybrid deployments
• Mentor engineers through collaborative troubleshooting and knowledge transfer

Required qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with on-premises Microsoft Exchange Server (2013, 2016, 2019, and Subscription Edition)
• Expertise in Exchange Hybrid with Microsoft 365 and related infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, Group Policy, and PowerShell
• Experience with Citrix NetScaler (ADC) and Citrix CVAD administration
• Ability to create technical documentation and communicate effectively with technical teams
