Senior Expense Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

Focused on overseeing expense accounting activities, the full-time Senior Expense Accounting Analyst will manage month-end close processes, ensure compliance with financial reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis for various expense categories
• Prepare audit support documentation and act as the expense accounting contact for internal and external audits
• Participate in system implementations and support process improvement initiatives while collaborating with multiple departments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in a multi-entity or publicly traded environment
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience with month-end close processes and audit support
• Proven ability to communicate complex accounting topics to stakeholders
