Job Summary

Leading the planning, migration, and upgrade of F5 infrastructure, the Senior F5 Engineer will work remotely on a long-term contract project focused on transitioning from F5 iSeries appliances to rSeries platforms and upgrading secure F5 VPN solutions.

Key responsibilities

Manage the migration and upgrade processes of F5 infrastructure, ensuring secure and scalable solutions
Design and implement F5 APM VPN solutions, including high availability and disaster recovery configurations
Produce technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions to support operational readiness

Required qualifications

7+ years of hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP platforms and migrations from iSeries to rSeries
Expertise in F5 APM VPN deployments, LTM, TMOS, and high availability configurations
Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and certificate management
Experience with F5 Global Traffic Manager (GTM) and application resiliency architecture design
Preferred experience with F5 SSL Orchestrator, Advanced WAF, and automation tools like Ansible/Terraform
