Senior Fabric Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Fabric Data Engineer, the role involves designing and implementing data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric, building a medallion architecture lakehouse, and developing Python and PySpark notebooks for data transformation, all while working in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement data pipelines to ingest data from various enterprise source systems
• Build and maintain a medallion architecture lakehouse following data modeling best practices
• Diagnose and resolve pipeline reliability issues, including authentication failures and performance bottlenecks

Required qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience with data modeling and medallion architecture
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
• 3+ years of experience in Python and PySpark, including notebook-based development
• Proficiency in SQL Server, including T-SQL and query optimization
