Senior Fabric Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Data Solutions team, the full-time Senior Fabric Data Engineer will design and implement data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric, build a medallion architecture lakehouse, and develop Python and PySpark notebooks for data transformation, all while working in a flexible remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines to ingest data from various enterprise source systems
• Build and maintain a medallion architecture lakehouse following data modeling best practices
• Diagnose and resolve pipeline reliability issues, including performance bottlenecks and authentication failures

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience with data modeling and medallion architecture
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
• 3+ years of experience in Python and PySpark, including notebook development
• SQL Server experience with T-SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization
