Job Summary

Providing expert level support for NASA travel programs, the full-time Senior Federal Travel Help Desk Specialist will assist government and contractor personnel throughout the travel lifecycle, resolving complex issues and interpreting regulations, with an initial remote work arrangement transitioning to in-office based on program needs.

Key responsibilities
  • Offer travel policy and regulatory guidance on NASA directives and federal travel regulations
  • Manage help desk operations and provide travel authorization and voucher support
  • Facilitate process improvements, including the development of training materials and standard operating procedures
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and federal travel experience
  • Four or more years of experience supporting federal government travel programs
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Travel Regulation (FTR)
  • Experience with NASA travel operations and financial processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and help desk ticketing systems
