Job Summary

Providing expert-level support to NASA travel programs, the full-time Senior Federal Travel Help Desk Specialist will assist government and contractor personnel throughout the travel lifecycle, resolving complex issues and interpreting regulations while initially working remotely with a transition to in-office based on program needs.

Key responsibilities
  • Offer travel policy and regulatory guidance on NASA directives and federal travel regulations
  • Manage help desk operations and provide travel authorization and voucher support to ensure compliance
  • Assist in process improvement by developing job aids, FAQs, training materials, and standard operating procedures
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and federal travel experience
  • Four or more years of experience supporting federal government travel programs
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Travel Regulation (FTR)
  • Experience with NASA travel operations and management systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and help desk ticketing systems
