Job Summary
Providing expert travel assistance, the full-time Senior Federal Travel Help Desk Specialist will support NASA's travel programs remotely, serving as a primary contact for travelers and resolving complex travel issues throughout the travel lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Offer travel policy and regulatory guidance, including NASA directives and federal travel regulations
- Manage help desk operations and provide travel authorization and voucher support
- Assist in process improvement efforts, including job aid development and training materials
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and federal travel experience
- Four or more years of experience supporting federal government travel programs
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Travel Regulation (FTR)
- Experience with NASA travel management systems and financial processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and help desk ticketing systems
