Senior Field Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Field Director for May Day Strong.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with community and labor partners in assigned areas
• Coordinate local implementation of key strategies and national actions
• Share landscape analysis and support needs with the Steering and Executive Committees

Qualifications

• At least 12 years of experience in organizing for social change, including 5 years in community-labor partnerships
• Deep commitment to anti-racist practices and building trust with diverse staff
• Ability to work effectively in politically sensitive environments
• Knowledge of legal constraints for 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) nonprofits
• Willingness to work irregular hours and travel as needed
