Senior Field Underwriter

Job Summary

Driving the growth of Small Commercial Lines business, the full-time Senior Field Underwriter will underwrite new business across various accounts while building strong agency relationships in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Categorize and direct Underwriting Technicians on next steps based on assessments
• Document underwriting decisions in compliance with established standards and expectations
• Communicate proactively with agents regarding coverage advantages and account opportunities

Required qualifications

• Experience in underwriting Small Commercial Lines
• Strong understanding of agency relationships and management
• Proficiency in underwriting systems and documentation standards
• Ability to effectively communicate complex information to agents
• Demonstrated success in new business production and quality audits
