Senior Field Underwriter

Job Summary

Driving the growth of Small Commercial lines, the full-time Senior Field Underwriter will underwrite new business across various accounts while building strong agency relationships and collaborating with underwriting partners in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities:

• Assess and categorize underwriting tasks, directing team members on next steps
• Document underwriting decisions in compliance with established standards
• Communicate coverage advantages and cross-sell opportunities to agents effectively

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience in underwriting Small Commercial lines
• Strong understanding of agency relationships and management
• Ability to communicate complex coverage information clearly
• Experience in achieving new business production goals
• Familiarity with underwriting systems and documentation standards
