Senior File Transmissions Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and operation of file transfer systems, the full-time Senior File Transmissions Engineer will be responsible for managing IBM Sterling Integrator/File Gateway and other related tools while working remotely to ensure efficient data movement and system enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement integration solutions using the IBM MFT Suite, ensuring secure data exchange
• Configure standard file transmission solutions and troubleshoot issues related to file movements
• Provide tier 3 support for managed file transfer systems and consult with business lines on file transfer requests

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience with data transfer tools, specifically IBM Sterling File Transfer products
• Hands-on experience with BPML and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or PowerShell
• 5+ years of experience with other MFT platforms like Go Anywhere or Globalscape
• Proficient in file transfer protocols including SSH/SFTP, FTPS, and AS2
