Senior Finance Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

To support data modeling and reporting in an AI-native environment, the full-time Senior Finance Analytics Engineer will design dbt models, define metrics for both human and agent consumption, and contribute to documentation and compliance efforts while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build dbt models that serve as the source of truth for Finance & Accounting reporting and analysis
• Define metrics and translate business logic into structured models in collaboration with Finance and Accounting stakeholders
• Maintain documentation and auditability of data pipelines while participating in code reviews for SOX-controlled change management

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of analytics engineering experience, with strong hands-on work in dbt
• 4+ years of SQL experience in an MPP environment, with a focus on performant and maintainable transformations
• 1+ years of experience designing data products for AI consumption, including semantic layer work and metrics definitions
• Hands-on experience with AI-enabled development tools like Claude Code or Cursor
• Familiarity with SOX-controlled environments and formal change management processes
