Senior Finance Manager
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Finance Manager in the medical insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly financial close process, including P&L management and journal entry approvals
- Prepare and review financial statements ensuring compliance with external reporting standards
- Develop and mentor team members while collaborating with other departments for timely financial reporting
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
- 7-10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in leadership roles, specifically in the medical insurance industry
- Proficient in GAAP and statutory reporting
- Strong knowledge of P&L management, journal entries, reconciliations, and tax compliance
- Experience managing audits (GAAP and statutory)
