Senior Finance Manager

Job Summary

Hands-on and detail-oriented, the full-time Senior Accounting & Finance Manager will own key accounting operations, manage the monthly close process, and build systems and controls to support the finance function in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve core accounting processes across AP, AR, payroll, collections, and reconciliations
• Manage the monthly close process end-to-end, partnering with the outsourced bookkeeping team to deliver accurate financial statements
• Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls, preparing for the first financial statement audit

Required qualifications

• 4-6 years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience with strong hands-on accounting fundamentals
• Experience in the monthly close process and producing reliable financial reporting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting processes, including reconciliations and internal controls
• Public accounting experience, ideally with Big Four audit experience, is strongly preferred
• Experience in a startup or high-growth technology company is preferred
